“Life is filled with a million inconveniences, and that’s not a bad thing. If there were no delays, diversions, distractions, or bouts of despair in our lives, we’d never find the inspiration or courage to create a new and better world.”
It’s one of those primordial human truths that from our suffering we strive to create a better world. Now, that doesn’t mean we give up our will to direct our lives toward a useful purpose. We simply must remain aware that discomfort and uncertainty are an essential aspect of our existence.
We must become comfortable with that reality, and rather than give up our battles and fear tomorrow, we must step back and observe the problem from distant angles and continue—each of us—in building that better world one day and one action at a time.
